Watershed Exploration Challenge & Earth Day Bingo
Two self-guided activities for the whole family are available throughout the month of April. Participants will be entered into a raffle drawing after April 30 for sustainable surprise prizes. Learn more and sign up at www.albanyca.org/earthday.


Berkeley Waterfront Earth Day Cleanup
Saturday, April 23, 9:00AM – 12:00PM
Meet in front of Shorebird Park Nature Center
160 University Ave, Berkeley
Some supplies will be available, but we encourage you to bring your own gloves and bucket. Parking is limited so please consider biking, walking or public transit.

Castro Valley Creek & Trail Cleanup
Saturday, April 23, 9AM-12PM
Join Castro Valley Sanitary District and Friends of San Lorenzo Creek to clean up litter and care for wildlife habitat along Castro Valley Library Creek Trail. Meet next to KFC on Castro Valley Blvd. Park at the adjacent CVS lot.

Dublin Pride Volunteer Day

Living Arroyos Creek Cleanup and Volunteer Appreciation Party

Emerald Glen Skate Park, Dublin
Help pick up trash at Tassajara Creek with Living Arroyos for the Zone 7 Water Agency, followed by our volunteer appreciation party with a catered lunch and a thank you gift from our program partners. Organized by Living Arroyos.

Go Green with Us Earth Day Celebration

Downtown Event Center & Plaza, 3500 Capitol Ave, Fremont
Join City of Fremont, Washington Hospital and other partners for activities including a bicycle rodeo, basic bicycle tune ups, paper shredding, medicine & eye glasses take back, entertainment and more.

Citywide Clean-Up Day

Weekes Park, 27182 Patrick Ave, Hayward
Join City of Hayward and the Keep Hayward Clean and Green Task Force to pick up litter in neighborhoods throughout the City. Gloves, bags and tools provided plus free lunch with all volunteers following the cleanup.

Choose from several City-organized cleanup sites or join somebody else’s or create your own to clean up, green and beautify the city, using Oakland’s interactive Earth Day activity map. The City also lends tools for community-led events.
